Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date:[EFFECTIVE DATE]
Last Updated: June 21, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy governs your conduct, your User Content, and your participation in reviews, community features, and promotions on pieceofstass.com and our associated social channels (the "Site"), operated by Piece of Stass LLC. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
1. General Conduct
When using the Site, you agree not to:
1.1. Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right;
1.2. Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, hateful, threatening, obscene, or pornographic;
1.3. Infringe intellectual property or publicity/privacy rights;
1.4. Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code;
1.5. Engage in fraud, phishing, or deceptive practices;
1.6. Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without our written consent;
1.7. Interfere with the Site's operation or security;
1.8. Collect or harvest other users' data;
1.9. Impersonate any person or misrepresent affiliation;
1.10. Use the Site to send spam or unsolicited marketing.
2. User-Generated Content (UGC)
2.1. What counts as UGC. Any content you submit or post — including reviews, ratings, photos, videos, comments, Q&A, and promotion entries.
2.2. License. By submitting UGC, you grant us the worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license described in Section 11 of the Terms of Service to use it (including in marketing).
2.3. Your responsibilities. You represent that you own or have rights to your UGC, that it is accurate and not misleading, that it does not infringe or violate any law or third-party right, and that any identifiable individuals have consented.
2.4. Prohibited UGC. Do not post content that: contains others' personal information without consent; includes third-party trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material you don't have rights to; promotes illegal activity; or is false, deceptive, or designed to manipulate ratings.
2.5. Moderation. We may (but are not obligated to) review, edit, refuse, or remove UGC at our discretion, and may disable accounts that violate this AUP. We are not responsible for UGC posted by users.
3. Reviews & Endorsements
3.1. Honest reviews only. Reviews must reflect your genuine, honest experience. We do not buy, fabricate, or suppress reviews to distort overall ratings.
3.2. No incentivized reviews without disclosure. If you received any incentive (free product, discount, gift, payment, or other benefit) in exchange for a review, you must clearly disclose it in the review (e.g., "I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review"), consistent with the U.S. FTC Endorsement Guides and the FTC's rule banning fake and deceptive reviews. We will disclose material connections on our side as well.
3.3. No conflicts. Do not post reviews about your own business or a competitor, or reviews you were paid by a third party to post without disclosure.
3.4. Prohibited review conduct. No false reviews, review hijacking, review gating (soliciting only positive reviews), or suppression of negative reviews.
4. Contests, Giveaways & Sweepstakes
4.1. Official Rules required. Each promotion will have separate Official Rules stating eligibility, entry method, start/end dates, prize details and approximate retail value, odds, winner selection and notification, and the sponsor (Piece of Stass LLC). The Official Rules control if they conflict with this AUP.
4.2. No purchase necessary (sweepstakes). Where a promotion is a sweepstakes (winner chosen by chance), no purchase is necessary to enter or win, and a free alternative method of entry will be provided, as required by U.S. law. A promotion that requires payment and is won by chance is an illegal lottery and we will not run one.
4.3. Eligibility. Unless stated otherwise, promotions are open only to legal residents of [eligible jurisdictions] who are 18+ (or the age of majority). Void where prohibited. Employees, contractors (including StudioDDx), and their immediate families may be excluded.
4.4. Platform rules. Promotions run on social platforms must comply with that platform's promotion policies (e.g., Meta/Instagram, TikTok), and we are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any platform. Entrants must follow FTC disclosure rules when posting about the promotion (e.g., #sweepstakes, #contest, #ad as applicable).
4.5. Taxes. Prize winners are responsible for all applicable taxes; we may issue tax forms and require identity/eligibility verification.
4.6. Right to modify/cancel. We may modify, suspend, or cancel a promotion if fraud, technical failure, or other factors compromise its integrity, subject to applicable law.
5. Reporting Violations
To report content that violates this AUP, or suspected IP infringement, email [ABUSE/SUPPORT EMAIL] with details (URL, description, and your contact information). For copyright complaints, include the information required under the DMCA and send to our designated agent at [DMCA AGENT CONTACT].
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, disqualifying promotion entries, and reporting to authorities. Violations may also breach the Terms of Service.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP at any time; the "Last Updated" date reflects the latest version.
