We want your experience with Piece of Stass to be smooth and transparent from checkout to doorstep. This Policy explains how we prepare, ship, and deliver your order, and sets clear expectations about timelines, customs, and what happens if something goes wrong.
1. How Our Fulfillment Works
Piece of Stass curates unbranded, "inspired-by" lifestyle goods sourced directly from carefully selected overseas manufacturing partners. To keep prices fair and our catalog fresh, many items ship directly from our suppliers to you. This means a slightly longer delivery window than big-box retailers — but it also means lower prices and access to pieces you won't find on every corner. We believe in being upfront about this so there are no surprises.
2. Order Processing Time
- Processing time: Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days after payment is confirmed. Processing includes order verification, quality checks, and dispatch preparation.
- Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day.
- During promotions, new launches, or peak seasons, processing may take a little longer; we'll keep you informed.
3. Transit (Delivery) Time
- Transit time: After dispatch, international transit typically takes 8–15 business days, depending on destination and carrier.
- Total estimated delivery time: Combining processing and transit, most orders arrive within 10–20 business days from the date of purchase.

3.1 FTC 30-Day / Mail Order Rule Notice (U.S.)
We represent delivery times honestly. If we cannot ship within the time stated (or within 30 days if no time is stated), we will notify you of the delay and give you the option to consent to the delay or cancel your order for a full refund, consistent with the FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, we'll email a confirmation with a tracking number where available. Tracking information may take a few days to update after dispatch, and international tracking detail can be limited in transit. You can also check your order status at [ORDER STATUS / ACCOUNT URL].
5. Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

6. Customs, Duties, Import VAT & Taxes

- United States buyers: Most low-value personal shipments enter under the U.S. de minimis framework, but rules and thresholds are subject to change by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. In some cases, duties, tariffs, or processing fees may apply, particularly if the de minimis treatment does not apply to your shipment. Any charges assessed by customs or the carrier are the buyer's responsibility unless stated otherwise.
- EU buyers: Import VAT applies to most shipments. Where we are registered for the Import One-Stop-Shop (IOSS), VAT on consignments valued at €150 or under may be collected at checkout so your parcel clears customs without a surprise VAT bill. Effective 1 July 2026, the EU's €150 customs-duty exemption is removed and a transitional flat customs duty (currently €3 per tariff line item) may apply to low-value parcels in addition to VAT. Carrier handling fees may also apply.

7. Address Accuracy & Failed Deliveries
- Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delayed, lost, or returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you.
- If a package is returned to the supplier due to an address error, an undeliverable destination, or unpaid customs charges, we can re-ship at your expense or issue a refund minus shipping and any non-recoverable costs.
- If your tracking shows "delivered" but you cannot locate the package, please check with neighbors and your local carrier first, then contact us within
